    Hi,

I’ve got a set of wooden driveway gates made from 70mm wide (20mm thick) tongue and groove. A couple of the end sections have succumbed to rot, so looking for some advice on where is best to purchase some replacement timber. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be a standard size having looked at various suppliers, any advice would be appreciated as I’d like to save the gates if possible.
    Cheers

An easy job for a decent chippy or handyman. Just need to cut a new matching board(s) which with the right tools is a few minutes of a job.

Or find a local tmber yard - not DIY shed or builders merchant.

My local one would produce a few lenths in 15 minutes. You will need to have a sample as the T & G may not be central, and if feasible, look at replacing ALL the stats as others may be on the way out too.
