Customer Services "Hi Can I help you ?" Me "Yes, I am looking for xxx but your branch is out of stock" Customer Services "And how can I help you?" Me "Can you tell me when they will get stock ?" Customer Services "No, thats up to the branch" Me "Can I speak to the branch ?" Customer Services "Sorry I can't put you through" Me "Can you check when anyone will be getting stock ?" Customer Services "None on order so it could be 14 days" Me "So where does that leave me?" Customer Services "You'll have to wait, sorry" As a tradesman with clients waiting what use is this ? Bad Practice Screwfix !!!!!!!!!!!!
I tried to order online and said not in stock and don't know when. I contacted them and they said in stock 14 days. Then I contacted again and they said end of the week, but no guarentees. As Phil says, once more I shall go elsewhere. Bad show on Screwfix's behalf. Obviousl a job for a stock controller going at Screwfix as the current one has lost the plot Imagine if you went into MacDonalds and asked for a BIG Mac and they said, "won't have any for two weeks mate".
That'd be absolutely marvellous. I'd settle for the McChicken burger instead, or perhaps the Fillet o fish or even 3, 1/4lb cheesburgers instead (washed down with a XL Cola or milkshake)
That emigrated Westward, years ago.. Mind you, last year on holiday the missus went on one of them "Whale Watching Trips". When she got back she said, "It was great, one of the whales came right up to the boat.",,,,,,,, I told her "Perhaps it recognised you."
Been trying to get 45x4 turbogold screws for weeks with no luck, perhaps they ought to change their name to Noscrewsfix.
a tool company on the river ax near the minster do there own version and they are very good not sure if they do 45x4mm though
