I moved a rad from one side of the room to the other it's a massive one.

There was pipework already there I just had to alter it.

Now since moving it no heat gets to it no heat in the pipes at all. I have tried bleeding it. Checked tvr the pin moves on its own.

Wondering when I altered pipe work did I cause a blockage

It's a fairly new system 4 years old

Turn all other rads off and force water through that ohne

    Just been doing that.

All rad off except the one in question and if I undo up the tvr the water coming out gets hot. As soon as I do it back up the flow stops. Think maybe it's a blockage on the flow valve?

I originally put 2 rads in either side of room 1 big rad 1 small. Took out the small one and put the bigger 1 in its place.

The pipework I just extended to fit the bigger rad. I plumbed the whole house 12 rads in all and before I swapped them never a problem

Was it an old rad? Maybe it is full of gunk?

Well you said the TRV pin moves freely, so it's possibly a faulty spring on TRV head. I would swap it out they are cheap as chips.

Pictures would help. Rad, valves and pipework.

Looks like the pipe had slightly flattened

    Would that stop flow

    Nothing to worry about.

You can swap over trv head from elsewhere in the house just to eliminate that cause.

That pipe is nowhere near flattened, I've seen much worse. Even with that restricted flow, the rad would still warm up.

This is an example of poor bends. The rad this feeds works just as well as all the others.

    There is a blockage somewhere!

You could take rad off and give it a good flushing?

Same pipe, just while I'm digging through my pictures. You can also see what flux looks like when its left on the pipes.

When you say existing pipe work and changed a rad, did you mean the pipework was feeding a radiator before you altered it? or was it left capped off?

Tried different tvr head no changr

think I'm gonna pop down plumb fix now buy a new set of valves. Cut the pipe work out flush the rad and start again.

Flush the rad just using a hospope?

It is the biggest rad and last rad on system

Have those valves been on a working rad?

Look, i would close every rad up except this one. Turn up heating and see what happens. Bleed if need be. Let the heating force its way through this rad. Try and see what happens.

    Is the lockshield valve open?
