Wondering if someone can please help.

I have rubbed down and primed all my gloss work. This morning I went to put a coat of satin on and in my haste I have picked up moisture resistant matt white emulsion.

The satin I am using is crown and I believe it must be water based as you clean the brushes in water.

Should I be ok painting direct onto the emulsion?

    Cheers, Rob.

On interior paintwork you may well get away with it as long as you prepared well before hand, in extreme cases when a bit of primer is needed I have known people to splash on a bit of matt emulsion, often wonder how much difference there really is between cheap water based primer and emulsion paint.

I would give it a light rub down and try an area to see how it goes.
