Ok, ive removed old plaster off a wall as it was old and practically fell down in one big lump! Now ive prepped the wall, gave it a good scrub with a wire brush and ready to replaster, using thistle browning for the undercoat but just wanted to get peoples opinion on whats best to do to the wall before i apply it, do i dampen the wall or apply a coat of pva? Its a block work interior wall!
    Thanks people!

Usual process is couple of coats of pva/water mix and on the last one wait until its got that cellotape stickiness and then get the plaster on
