Have an outhouse attached to the House built with single course of bricks on three outside walls.

I want to try and insulate it and not have it so damp. Whats the best way to do this?

Moisture resistant plasterboard dot and dab on to the bricks?

Whether its the right way or not, when I put an office in my garage I in effect built a stud wall inside the single skin brick. The outer side of the stud was a DPM the inside plasterboard and the stud cavity filled with insulation. With an air cavity between this and brick wall and insulated floor and ceiling, office is toasty.
