hi just wondered what the price would be per m? I bought some from eBay at £9.00 per m? I was going to phone around a few places near me, if I was buying 10m at a time would I get it a lot cheaper? Thanks
Don't know where you are, but there are firms like Ainscough Metals they sell new & used metal, etc, I bought some 7.5mtr lengths of used 50mm x 50mm x 5mm Steel Box Section (basically new with surface rust) from them @ £25 each, a bargain, it would cost around £100 or more for 6 mtr length. FH Brundle will sell in 7.5m lengths at £28 inc Vat- about £4 per metre. Delivery charge was £10 for 4 lengths of 6m x8 mm bar My lad is a blacksmith and uses them for everything.
