The following sequential photos show how to make a ''light in a jar'' - the jar is a cleaned out mustard jar and the cost of making is minimal.

    Materials required

    Jar

    Candle light (coin cell powered)

Get ure missus/other half to whip up a nice dinner, while she's doing that go down the supermarket and buy a nice bottle of wine and then turn the lights down, put the ''light in a jar'' on the table, and enjoy a romantic dinner for two whilst listening to soft music - who knows what will follow next..;)

  2. How did you get the lid on to the jar without the candle falling in - did you glue the candle to the lid first?

If so - ha ha - 'cos you won't be able to replace the battery!
