I remember a long time ago when i was a keen fisherman, I bought a brolly and after that it never rained for ages,,you could try that

 

I don't know how to stop it. But I know how to start it. I get our lass to hang some washing out. I can guarantee that it will start to rain within ten minutes...
It's a bit like how do you make traffic lights change...
Start to light a cig and they will change when you are almost lit...
