I've been a plonker, using expanding foam around extractor fan tube and a load squirted outside and blew in the wind on my car.. cleaned what I could it's left a dozen splodges on the car looking like bird poo...

Help please on the best thing to get it off without damaging the car paint, please??

Hi plonker! You could try scrapping as much off as possible using a plastic spatuala etc. Then T-Cut (colour restorer) followed by waxing.

If its fresh then Big WIpes or Gorilla Wipes or similar get it off easily.

    think I've done it...

Used swarfega oil & grease remover I had and thankfully it's worked. Obviously pretty dark now so can't see everything, but it looks like I've got most of it off without damaging the paint (I hope - will know tomorrow!)

Hope this is usefully to someone else... thanks all for the replies, I had a mild panic attack at the time :)

Nowt to panic about. It just has to be mechanically removed. Loads of ways, but dont forget to rewax if the paintwork is in good condition.
