   Hello,
   I need to paint some CH rads that have some minor surface rust on them.
   What's best sort of paint for the job?
   I can remember seeing at sometime a paint that eats rusts after wire brushing off the loose and turns into undercoat..

   Yeah, I believe it was called Rust Eater, check out Halfords range of paints.

   More often than not its known as Rust Converter as it converts the rust to a hard stable layer that can be painted, search for Rust on the Halfords website.
   
   Hammerite Kurust is one product amongst many that do the same thing.
