Longstanding Screwfix employee Jess has terminal cancer of the brain and although it is a sad time knowing chemotherapy treatment will no longer help fight the cancer she is such a positive and selfless person, a true inspiration to many people.

As a thank you to the doctors and nurses who have cared for Jess in Area 61 Oncology ward in Bristol, we would like to celebrate Jess's 24th birthday and raise funds for the ward by having a fundraising event at the Wingate Sports and Social Club in Gloucester on November 1st.

During the day from 2pm until 6pm there will be many stalls with light refreshments and entertainment, including a bouncy castle, farm animal feeding and face painting all raising funds which will be a great day out for the kids too.

Please check out Jess's fundraising page on the link below.

You can also donate by texting JRID69 and an amount of £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 to 70070
