Hi, I'm needing a self tapping screw that is for this Cardale garage lock. "No 10 x 1/2 S/Tap Screw" I have had a look on the Screwfix website but I am getting confused with which screw it is. I would be very great full if some one has a spare minute they could give me the Screwfix code for the screw I am looking for. Thank you
You need a No 10 (5mm metric) self tapping screw 12mm (1/2"). http://www.homebase.co.uk/en/homeba...right-zinc-plated---5-x-12mm---10-pack-674324 Can't see any on our host site in correct length.
Not really if joining a metal trim to a channel. 19mm would be ok, if the extra length didn't obstruct anything & stop door working. Even TS don't do them, only 19mm.
I have a screw in place at the moment but it doesn't quite fit so I cant operate the t handle on the other side of the garage door. Hope this works or I am back to the drawing board.lol Thanks for the reply's.
Hence saying its an odd size, the big boys don't stock them. Even finding them on ebay isn't easy in the UK, standard size in the US which is possibly where the Handle was made.
Think I will try the 19mm ones as the other store is at the opposite end of the city from me. http://www.screwfix.com/p/easydrive-pz-flange-self-tapping-screws-10-x-19-100-pack/9033h Thanks everyone.
If you haven't a local Homebase you can order some from here. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/FLANGE-HEAD...ED-No-4-6-8-10-GAUGE-/361180899687?nav=SEARCH
