Hi all, I'm putting in a stud wall which needs to carry a staircase and a fire door. The header pieces sit below my RSJ and I need to secure the footers to a concrete floor. I'm wondering what's the best way to do that? I can't find any clear building regs on this, so any help would be much appreciated. Cheers

You could also use 8mm coach screws with grey plugs

I'm a fan of concrete bolts, drill, zip the bolt in with a socket bit in the drill, then tighten with a socket wrench to nip up, bit more expensive but satisfyingly solid, M10's are about a pound each but less fixings.

    Or use frame fixings.
