Hi. I'm a bit confused, I need to use some M10 sleeve anchor bolts and some places I google say to use a 10mm masonry drill bit but some say 16mm. What is right, and why the difference?

M10 refers to the size of the bolt that fits into the middle of the anchor bolts. You just ain't gonna get a M10 anchor bolt (complete) into a 10mm hole. Purchase some and you'll see exactly what I mean. (most come with instructions on the correct hole size to drill)

Use multimondi's, thunderbolts or concrete bolts instead, different names for the same thing.

Thanks. Would they take the same weight? I'm fixing some upright posts to a brick wall and then running a wooden beam on top of them?
