Hi all Have used solvent based Gripfill (green tube) several times over the years but have gone for the solvent free variety recently So much nicer to use, cleaner, wipe away excess with damp cloth, no toxic smell, easily painted over, doesn't skin up so fast (although that can sometimes be a benefit ) wipes off your hands instead of removing a layer of skin ! All plus points so far but.....Is it as strong as the solvent variety ? Haven't got a particular use in mind, more of a general question really regarding its bonding properties
I used it to stick up lightweight coving. Gripped well & good gap filling...No probs. I suppose it's "horses for courses".
