Not wired 1 before and just wondered how they are wired.

    Is there a common standard.

Can they be used to operate more than 1 light.

Do you use 2 core or 3 core, not including CPC or does it depend on the type of light the PIR will be operating.

    Just wondered.

    Many thanks.

  2. 3 core if you want to switch on said light permanent like.
    twin and earth if not.
    phase,neutral,earth,sw phase.
    :)

  3. Allways 3 core + earth. They all work the same, Neutral for the detector to work, Live feed and live away to lights. You can connect the outputs together of these and control many lights but check the total connected load

So now we have covered controlling more than 1 light from the same PIR,

what about controlling 1 light with more than 1 PIR.

    Many thanks.
