Folks, Just about to have kitchen/diner completely plastered... mostly just a skim, but with some bonding where repairs needed, and a completely new ceiling, skim over fireboard... Is this suitable for for mist coat, then topcoat for ceiling? http://www.screwfix.com/p/leyland-t...ite-10ltr/33680?_requestid=39652#BVRRWidgetID Both kitchen and dining areas are very approx 3 x 3 metres. Thanks in advance. Cando
I've used this on most of my ceilings at home and am happy with the results Good coverage and seems to contain plenty of pigment so a nice solid white colour Flick through the reviews, plenty there and from what I've seen, vast majority seem more than happy with the product A thinned out mist coat followed by two full bodied coats should see you good
Thanks... I'm not doing the plastering though! So it's good for a mist coat. Ok for kitchen? Ta. Cando
Kitchen ceilings can be subject to steam and greasy residues in the air if you do a lot of cooking Regular emulsion doesn't take well to a damp cloth and is absorbant , stain easily Eggshell is good for kitchens and bathrooms or Dulux Diamond (think it's called) both are washable (not that people usually wash their ceings I agree) or even a vinyl Matt Other peeps will no doubt have their opinions as well
