Swirl Magellan - tap top swap

    The very top part of the tap (around 10mm deep) unscrews anticlockwise. Hold the rest of the top to stop it turning. Once you have this off then there's a screw underneath, undo this and the whole top comes off.

    These tap heads are quite ridiculous: difficult to remove and hopeless to use with wet hands!

    I'll give it a try.
    I agree G Brown, They certainly are quite difficult to use with wet hands. Even more so with Arthritic wet hands.

    Why not convert the heads to lever heads?

    Thanks Arty, only reason I know the way to take them off is, I have a brand new set lying in a cupboard here.... Came off a B&Q display bathroom we had returned from store. (The store didn't want it apparently) So the taps were taken off before the rest was scrapped :)
