    Hi

my guttering goes to a 68mm round downpipe. I want to join the downpipe to 110mm drainage pipe and then run this into a rubble filled soakaway about 7 metres away.
I would be grateful for any advice as to how to do this.

    Thanks

Dig your soakaway, fill with rubble, fit your 110mm pipe up to the conservatory, put on a 90˚ bend, connect your 68mm pipe with this.

    Hi Phil

Thanks for the very useful reply -exactly what I need to know.
The 110mm will run under a lawn - is 300mm below the surface enough?
I have a load of 20mm ballast - is this ok to set the pipe in?

    Cheers

    Rhino

As long as you have enough fall on the pipe then yes 300mm is enough, ballast should be ok to put around the pipe, just don't over compact it.
