I'm looking at installing a velux in my kitchen and just seen solar powered 'integra' versions.

I'm looking at a 780x14000 centre pivot. The Solar powered is more than double, £780 compared to the manual at £370.

It's a bit of a gimmick for sure, but from the promo films I've seen they look good. Saves having to keep a long pole kicking around the house for those few occasions in the summer when it will get opened

Has anyone had any experience with these and do you rate them? Have you installed them for customers and heard good feedback? I've been unable to find any reviews online so far.

I've got integra velux on a bungalow I'm building. Seem good to me but only tried them 5-6 times as not finished building yet.
