   Hi, I'm stacking a vented tumble dryer on top of a washing machine in an small outhouse, how much room do I need behind the dryer in order to fit a vent hose and are their machines with alternative exhaust positions i.e. Front or side? Cheers, Brian.

   Some machines have the option of side or rear venting.
   
   My Bosch dryer is a condenser, & has Drainset: no need to empty condensation water manually as it is automatically drained to a stand pipe
