    I was a rocker here's pic of me and my 1970 triumph bonnie, in this pic we were touring Europe in 1973 I' believe this photo was in Holland but I can't be sure of the location,[​IMG]

    I was a mocker because I'm an individual, not a sheep.
    My Lambretta had clip-ons n rearsets, and my DBD34 had loads of mirrors, lights n handlebar streamers.

    Btw, your '73 L-reg trumpet means you missed the mod/rocker thing by years.
    You were a greaser, old boy.

    you're right about being an individual ( why is individual spelt so? dual; it should be indivimono) but anyrode there's only ONE thrudgie that's a fact ;)

    only one, they're all still alive and well but time moves on and people go different ways, Its hard to believe that was 40 years ago :(

    I'm a rocker in the sense that I like heavy metal music and bikes. :)

    I had a 250cc Matchless. Single cylinder engine that went "thump, thump , thump, thump. ;);););)

    Yep the last 250cc single cylinder engines made (I think) A mate had a 350cc James motorbike with a single cylinder engine. Had fun trying to kick start that. :p:p:p

    I had one of those too JJ it used to fire every lamp post but it had a fifth gear so once you got it wound up and in top gear it was pretty good for its day,
    1st bike, honda 50
    2nd. a vespa 200
    3. a triumph tiger cub
    4.matchless 250
    5.royal enfield 250
    6.BSA A10 goldflash
    7.the bonnie T120
    8.honda CB750
    got wed,,,end of fun......:(

    The 350cc motorbike my mate had was actually a James frame with a 350cc Villiers engine and gearbox shoe horned in.

    I learnt n passed me test on an MV America with a Watsonian double adult sidecar. On passing, I sold the MV and lashed the sidecar to a nice new R1 on which I still ride today.

    That Tour of Europe was a couple of years before my time. Looks like an awesome trip across Europe though. I can only imagine what shenanigans you got up to!!
