Hi all, we moved house last Friday. We have a condensing boiler. We are getting hot water, but no heating. Thermostat is working for CH. Engineer has been out. We cannot find the valve or pump for the central heating. I am about to start ripping up floorboards. Could it be we don’t have a valve or pump?

the boiler is about 5 metres from the cylinder, but on the floor below. The engineer said the valve should be between boiler and cylinder. Hence next action is to start opening up the floorboards… likelihood of success?

Do you have a motorised valve anywhere? Post photos of the cylinder and pipes around it.
