WC-CON8F to 110mm soil pipe

HI All,

Just about to fit a new toilet and purchased a WC-CON8F, which is the 90 degree flexible pan connector. It says on the supplied document that it fits into a 110mm soil pipe. I've tried, and it seems very tight. Is this correct? It fits quite nicely into a 110mm coupler which then would go on a 110mm soil pipe.

Have I missed something or am I just being soft with trying to get it into the 110mm soil pipe?
