    Hi lads
I'm looking for some advice, we viewed a house today, an ex station masters house next to the railway,
Looking around the garden there was a few conifer trees planted around two concrete bases with what looks like a yellow plastic pipe sticking from the ground in a plastic trunking (yellow is gas?)
Hopefully the picture works! Any ideas please lads what this can be
    Thanks

Maybe had Calor gas tanks in the past.

Good point I never thought of that,
The house has been ransacked for the metal so they might of been nicked

Maybe Calor as Phil says worth enquiring from the vendor it might be to clear gas from old landfill or perhaps Radon.

Or you could return after dark with a couple of stout stakes and a hammer and check out moppylhd's idea!
