Hi all, My husband would like a new drill for his birthday. He currently has a cordless Makita drill but he needs a corded drill with more power for getting through brickwork. I'm happy to spend £100 - £200 but don't know where to start. I have looked at Bosch, DeWalt and Makita, but there are so many to choose from I don't know what to get and whether they will work with the drill bits we already have? Can anyone point me in the right direction. Many thanks, Caz
Bosch pro range e.g. http://www.screwfix.com/p/bosch-gsb-16-re-750w-professional-percussion-drill-240v/94479 Small enough to be handy, big enough for most jobs. Mine's similar. Has been used and abused- still going strong, and when it did need new brushes easy to get. And, yes it will work with the drill bits that he uses in his cordless.
