Worktop and wall Gaps!

    Hi I'm back!, many thanks to everyone for their advice and helping me out here.

    I decided to cut into the wall!! I leveled and marked it out on the wall exactly where the worktop goes, then covered up the units that are already attached to the wall.

    I found using a multitool with plunge blade best for the job.

    Also the worktop has been cut for the ceramic hob.

    That's how it fits, its level and the overhang is about 1cm all the way along the units. I had to push it back more from one end, and I didn't even need to cut out the wall where the breakfast bar is. It is only away from the wall by 1cm, which will be covered by tiles.

    Now Just have tiling to do :)

    Just seen pics well done and well done too who ever mentioned cutting the wall. I forget who it was great tip.

    I have always scribed them in but much less pressure as will be coverd anyway. :)
