Indirect heating no hot water

    i have also noticed the boiler doesn't turn off on stat I turned it fully anti-clockwise to 1 and it kept running
    I will change this today
    Could this be the possible fault that the water is not heating - could it be that the boiler is just boiling the water into the expansion tank and not letting it travel around the gravity system

    If I change stat could it solve my problems and I could get hot water

    Did you check for a blockage with a magnet yet?

    Had oftec engineer out today he recommends
    Yplan with room stat and a cylinder stat and pressure vessel days work ;-) think I will deffo go with this

    Sounds like a good plan, You may be forking out now but long term you will save money and have much greater control of your water and heating temperatures.
